The room was functional & neat, came with air conditioning and balcony. Having a shower, a hair dryer, and a bidet was a bonus. The venue was in a central location just off the medieval castle and the open air restaurant there is pretty good, the lake ferrys and restaurants and town square and train station and the ferry and lake.

An easy walk to Olivedo Lido, where you can have lunch. Walking to a train station from montecodeno was easy. We came to Varenna for one night, no complains at all for this hotel. Location was within 10 min walking distance to Royal Victoria.
